Sarah Rome is a theater artist, writer, arts educator, and somatic body therapist. Born in Boston and raised on Massachusetts' North Shore, she earned her BFA in Theater Arts from Miami's New World School of the Arts, and has worked as an actress, singer, dancer, choreographer, vocal coach, and voice-over artist in Miami, New York City, and Lima, Perú, where she lived on and off for the last twenty years. In Lima, she was an Adjunct Professor of acting and dance in the School of Theater at Perú's Catholic University, taught for Escena Contemporanea Lima in their continuing education for professionals program, and worked as a private voice coach. After four years of "pandemic-exile" with her family in Portland, Oregon, they spent one more year in Perú where Sarah was most recently the Movement & Voice Coach for a production of Anton Chekhov’s The Cherry Orchard at the PUCP Cultural Center in Lima, nominated for Best Play of 2024 by Peru’s El Comercio for their annual Premios Luces.
